Mechanical engineering student. I bring design plans into the prototyping phase.
I have skills in CAD modeling, prototyping, and product design. I create precise technical drawings that communicate complex mechanical designs clearly, and detailed 3D models that are ready to build from.
GoalTo model and assemble all internal and external parts of a mechanical metronome, using fasteners either customized or from a 3rd party.
ProcessI disassembled, studied, and measured an existing metronome to gain insight into individual components and the entire system. I used what I learned to model, assemble, and render a metronome from scratch within Autodesk Inventor.
Designed for injection molding. Uses snap fits for ease of assembly.

GoalTo design a plastic hair dryer housing for ease of assembly.
ProcessModeled the housing in Autodesk Inventor and applied DFMA principles to integrate snap-fits, lips and rests, and screw bosses, while ensuring the design was suitable for injection molding.

GoalTo use industry standards to model and document steel table legs.
ProcessReferencing pre-existing concept images, I used skeletal modeling and the Autodesk Inventor Frame Generator to design table geometry to standards set by the AISC. I used notches and welds to improve quality and reduce assembly time.
